Rizwan R. Kalwar, MD founded The Wound Specialists to provide attentive, physician-led care grounded in clinical expertise, clear communication, and meaningful relationships with patients. With a background in general surgery and more than 17 years of experience treating complex wounds, he understands that effective care extends beyond the wound itself.
His approach combines careful attention to the factors affecting healing with a commitment to listening and understanding each patient’s concerns. He takes time to explain treatment options, answer questions, and adapt care as patients’ needs evolve. When additional support is needed, he coordinates with other healthcare providers to help achieve the best possible outcome.
